Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: I use professional Nikon digital cameras, lenses, flashes, and accessories. If needed.

Q: Can digital photographs look as good as film?
A: Yes, and quite often the result is better. With digital photographs you can have the same photo in color, B&W, Sepia, or any number of tones, all from the same color image. Professional digital cameras like mine produce most of the photographs you see in all the top fashion magazines.

Q: Do you photograph in color or black and white?
A: I photograph in color. This is so you have every option possible for your photographs. By shooting in full color the images can be digitally altered to black and white or sepia tone.

Q: Who processes the photographs?
A: I use professional imaging paper to develop your photographs to ensure the highest quality standards with the latest equipment and technology. Each image is individually assessed for color and exposure to provide you with highest quality prints available.

Q: How many proofs will I receive?
A: Between 100 and 400 proofs depending on the coverage you select. This certainly may vary as I do not “lock down” this number. It all depends on exactly what you would like photographed and the type of wedding or event that you have.

Q: Are you available to travel to photograph my event?
A: Yes. Right now I only service the Raleigh/Durham and surrounding areas. Please note that, there may be a travel fee associated areas outside of my services areas.

Q: What happens to the digital files after the event?
A: I archive all digital images for two years. If you do not purchase copies of the digital images within two years after your event date, the images will no longer be available for purchase. Prior to images becoming unavailable, I will make every effort to contact you before letting them go.

Q: How many photos would you take on a shoot?
A: Anywhere from 200 to 600 photos. Some photographers limit there shoots to 80 or 100 shots, or whatever figure is included in the package they offered you. "20 photos will be picked for your album from the 80 we take" is a statement seen on many photographer websites. They often take more images in their more expensive packages. Imagine they have filled the quota and the perfect candid shot presents itself, what then? OK, they may take the shot, but they will draw the line somewhere, I don't!

Q: Some wedding photographers have preset packages, like bronze, silver, gold etc. Do you have preset packages we can choose from?
A: Yes. My experience has taught me that preset packages often mean that customers pay for aspects that they may not want. So instead of offering set products, I also let you choose the type/size photographs you want.

Q: Can we pick a location that the pictures will be taken?

A: Yes! (As long as the location is not private property or has other restrictions.) Your safety is my top priority. There is no extra charge for this service.

Q: Who chooses the photos that go in our album?
A: You do!

Q: May I choose to buy only digital copies of the photos taken?

A: Yes. If you purchase digital copies of your photographs, you receive a digital copy of every shot that I take, not just the ones you choose for developing.
